University of Virginia Students Excel in Design Competition Using FlightStream®

In a noteworthy application of advanced aerodynamic tools, Aerospace Engineering students at the University of Virginia, USA, have successfully employed FlightStream® in their submission for the prestigious annual Aerospace Design Competition. The students strategically chose FlightStream® as their main tool for subsonic flow analysis, achieving rapid and highly accurate assessments of external aerodynamics. This approach allowed them to outpace the capabilities of conventional CFD solvers, both in terms of speed and accuracy.
